Here I go . . .

After months of resisting the blog, I am giving in. I cannot fully explain my hesitation in creating a blog, but not needing or wanting another random thing to do is part of it. Or maybe it is the downturn I see in personal communication since blogging became all the rage (call me old-fashioned, but I still like personal emails and phone conversations), or the turn-off of cyber-voyeurism. And then there is also the fear of exposure. But here I am. 

I do very much enjoy the blogs I read and thank all of you for your efforts. With my dear family & friends spread near and far it is so wonderful to be able to keep up with your lives. As random as I can be, I thought I might have fun with a blog. Then the people I stalk via their blogs (yes, I know, cyber-voyeurism) can read something about me.
